What Is the ICWP Waiver?

The Independent Care Waiver Program (ICWP) is a Georgia Medicaid waiver that allows adults age 21 to 64 with physical disabilities to receive long-term care services at home instead of in a nursing facility. ICWP participants are assigned a case manager who coordinates services, including personal support and skilled nursing, based on an individualized service plan.
